While computer games can be just for entertainment, they can also teach kids about important topics. Here, you can learn about games that teach your kids more advanced problem solving, history, math, economics, and even science. They’ll be having so much fun, they may not even realizing they’re learning!

It is very true that children at this age are going to get more frustrated with games, that is why I have found that they always like science experiments. You can make your own lava lamp using a soda bottle (1 liter), water, vegetable oil, food coloring and alka seltzer. the kids love this, just put a cap on it and then when your child is board just drop in some more alka selzer.

That’s so fun! You can find books full of these sorts of experiments at the store, or plenty of kids sites online have suggestions too. My favorite when I was little was for my mom and me to make edible playdough together from scratch. We’d make it, play with it, then eat it! It was actually pretty delicious – the recipe involves peanut butter and honey!
